Travelling to every Australian state, thinkOTS set up the daytime truck driving event with an evening award ceremony and gala dinner for approximately 150 people. A national final was held in Sydney where the three young truck drivers that won their state competitions came to battle it out to be identified as Scania’s Young Australian Truck Driver.
The finalist ceremony was held in the National Museum of Modern Art for 250 people. Australian musicians Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows were commissioned to entertain the guests after the gala banquet dinner and awards ceremony. This has been a highly successful event for Scania and thinkOTS has managed the event every year since this inaugural event.
